Dear Susan Davis,
I am writing to you urging that you will produce a new case for renewable energy. I am Grant Choy I go to High Tech Middle Media Arts I live in the 92103 area. I am important to you because I am one of the people that your decisions will affect.

I know that you have supported bills like this one before. I see you are making steps towards a better cleaner healthier world including the safe climate act, H.R. 197 and H.R. 539. Yet I urge you to take another step to make to cause future generations to be able to live in a clean environment.

Though I believe you may already know this I would like you to know the advantages to using renewable energy. If we were to switch to renewable energy we would be able to reduce our dependence upon fossil fuels that pollute our environment. The effects that this would have on our environment would be substantial. Over population is a problem and the matter of polar ice caps melting and the water level rising people would have to move away from the cost line witch would cause more people to live in less space. Also rising water level will flood building if we are force to move back this would cause pollution of our oceans.

This would have economical impacts if we were to use renewable energies such as solar or wind it would not require people to do work. That they would not have to pay people witch would lower the price of electricity making it easier on families to pay their bills. This will loosen up money that people use to pay their taxies meaning that the government has more money available. This money could go to things that are currently suffering from budget cuts such as education. With higher education available it will be easier for people to get jobs. This will make people have more money which will put more money back into the economy.

Here are some things you could do to
o Placing caps on emissions
o Putting a max on M.P.G.s
o Send government funding into development of renewable energy

Sincerely,
Grant Choy
